A traditional palette of blue, orange and green, adopted with a modern twist.

The colour variations are refreshing, energetic, positive and progressive – echoing the Brand Tone established for Kara Business Solutions.

Teal blue is the primary colour, coral orange and light green support. Gold is used as an accent, for calls to action and where you want to draw the eye. Steel grey is a modern neutral used for a grounding effect. White creates an open and clear design.

Colour Pallette

Blues are traditionally seen in institutional branding, the finance sector and international companies. Itʼs universally loved (the most popular colour) by both men and women and the most culturally ʻsafeʼ. It is widely accepted in the psychological community to be the colour associated with trust.

Red will be used as an accent colour to communicate key information / on primary calls to action and to add passion and commitment, power and success – and a pop of sex appeal.

Colours chosen reflect the Langley region, and considered the personal preference of Living Langley stakeholders. Care was taken to ensure the palette was gender neutral as the Living Langley audience is both male and female.

Blue and green are found in the Langley city crest of arms, and are the two primary colours of the Township of Langley crest. The hues chosen for the Living Langley palette are modern twists: teal blue and khaki green. Muted and calming, grounded by a classic bold black.
